Hi all! If you want to use this dimensional effect, go to:
XServ > GD_Second_Year > Student_Storage >spreadshadows.indd,
it's CS3/CS4 compatible, just open and copy/paste to your files!
Also, if you want to make it yourself, the gradient looks like this:
Inside spread shadow
(to create more colors, click on the blank spot below the continuum that reflects the shade you want)
Then, to finish it up, put the gradient at 20% opacity, and add a gradient feather (under fx) set up like this:
And there you have it, (or you can just copy my file) :D
So, for my next trick, I will transform this project into something better! I really like the pattern/logo/idea behind corobici, but I don't think that translated to the book well, I also would like to try wrangling a photographer into retaking photos once I redesign the labels, which is another part I want to redo, all the packaging.
Here's the issuu book for a reference point:
So I agree with the comments made, I like this one best, I did make a little bit of adjustment to it after the in between, gave the type a little more breathing room, I think it strengthens it, but is not too noticeably different, hence, pointing it out :) I still like the idea of tying in the picture with the word mark by making the dot in the 'i' yellow, but I don't know if it's necessary, comment if you care! :)

Thanks for all the great comments!
Wow, I totally spaced on putting this up, but here's my Underground after brochure, the bulk of the work is unseen, assigning paragraph and character styles, but also I changes type sizes and made the styles and colors more consistent, it needs more work on the rag, but here you go!

Here's my first 'before'. It's for the Dog Pound program through MHCC. From constructive criticism I received, I would like to make the header(?)/basketball larger, and make them both stand out more. also I will be working with the typography, but for the most part, those will be subtle changes, as Frankie did a great job with it previously!
I would really appreciate if there are other comments you can think of hearing feedback on how to further improve it!
